One of the main things i wanted to do with my nas was consolidate out home media collection. Review Synology NAS, a solid backup solution and great home media from Plex on a pc/server doesn't really care where you store files as long as it has access to them directly, via network share, mapped drive, etc. Here is why we chose the 4 bay diskstation ds420+ synology nas as our overall best nas device for plex. I am Plex Pass Member but there is no support helping me. Really don't know what to and it is so frustrating wasting all this time. It always takes me hours of just trying random stuff to make it work again. Sometimes updating to the newest version works but most of the time it doesnt. Every couple of weeks, completely randomly (but I have the feeling indexing new files might cause it) Plex crashes and I dont know how to fix it. ![]()
